Progressive Downloader Überblick
Progressive Downloader ist ein kostenloser Download-Manager, der Multithread-Downloads und die Suche nach Spiegelseiten unterstützt.
Wichtigste Funktionen:
- Unterstützung der Protokolle HTTP(S), FTP, FTPS und SFTP(SSH).

- Spiegelsuche. Automatische Suche nach verschiedenen Speicherorten derselben Datei, um den schnellsten zu wählen.
- Intelligentes Drag & Drop. Ziehen Sie einen Textabschnitt mit Hyperlinks per Drag & Drop auf das Anwendungssymbol, um diese herunterzuladen. Sie können einen ähnlichen Vorgang auch mit beliebigen Text- oder HTML-Dateien durchführen.
- FTP-, FTPS- und SFTP-Browser. Durchsuchen und laden Sie Dateien per Doppelklick oder per Drag & Drop herunter.

I was looking for a download manager for awhile before finding Progressive Downloader (PD) and for the most part it works well though even with the Interceptor installed Progressive Downloader does not catch many downloads. If I set PD to download with a browser I would prefer that it acted as advertised, intercepting any and all – or virtually all – downloads. I have used download managers that have functioned much better in this regard though for whatever reason they're no longer being supported – such as Speed Download – which is a bummer.

Read the Privacy Policy VERY CAREFULLY https://www.macpsd.net/pages/privacy-policy/ IN PART "If you are located outside Russian Federation and, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Russian Federation and process it there." The program also collects Cookie information, in addition to "..mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers [i.e. your phone or computer ID] and other diagnostic data." The company can share any and all of this info with 3rd parties, the Privacy Policy is carefully worded, but if you read between the lines and analyze, there is nothing that explicitly says that the company WON'T share any of this data. Specifically, it says they won't share with any entity that doesn't have 'ADEQUATE CONTROLS IN PLACE...' which is basically a legal disclaimer as there is no definition of what 'adequate' means...adequate can mean whatever they choose to define it to mean. Look at the release history https://www.macpsd.net/pages/version/ since April of 2019 to April 2021, basically every release just ways "Bug fixes and stability improvements. " no specifics. If you have Little Snitch (and every Mac user should), it would be intgeresting to see what IP addresses this program contacts outside of the sites you actually visit.

Гораздо лучше, чем качать файлы через браузер, особенно когда инет плохой или загрузка с медленного сервера. Есть все что нужно: докачка, многопоточность.

Отличная программа, качает хорошо, докачка в случае обрыва, пользуюсь сам, рекомендую.
